The challenge is to design, build and race a boat of your own against the clock and your fellow participants and all for the benefit of the local programs of Cerebral Palsy.

The event is organized into teams and each team is supplied the same materials and tools. Each team is allowed ten members and construction time from start to finish is just two hours. Race planning and tactics are allowed one hour and the race follows immediately on a triangle course.

The race has been held for the past eleven years and design technology improves each year. The number of boats that actually float has increased greatly and the percentage of finishers is truly impressive. Photo opportunities abound.

Entrants can participate by either sponsoring a Transpac Team or forming their own crews to challenge Transpac entries. Space is limited to twenty teams and all entry fees are tax deductible.
