A men's $60,000, 4-star WQS event and a 32-man $10,000 Longboard Invitational division, (new this year).

Location: Alii Beach Park, Haleiwa, North Shore, O`ahu. No admission charge.

* Men's Rip Curl World Cup of Surfing:
The $80,000 men's final 5-star World Qualifying Series competition.
Date: November 24-Dec. 6. Held during the same holding period as the women's competition.
Location: Sunset Beach, North Shore, O`ahu.
No admission charge.

* Mountain Dew Pipe Masters.
The $120,600 final men's World Championship Tour event. (28th Annual Pipe Masters.)
Date: Dec. 8-20
Location: Ehukai Beach Park, North Shore, O`ahu.

WOMEN'S COMPETITIONS
* Billabong Girls:
A women's $12,500, 4-Star WQS event.
Date: November 5-11
Location: Kauai Westside. Mobile competition.

* G-Shock Hawaiian Pro:
A women's $12,500, 4-star WQS event.

* Quiksilver Roxy Pro:
The final $30,000 women's 1998 WCT Event event presented by Kahlua.
