Welcome to the 15th Annual G-Shock Triple Crown of Surfing. You are here. In the Hawaiian Islands. On the North Shore of O`ahu. Surrounded by the sound and fury of the G-Shock Triple Crown of Surfing, one of the finest sporting spectacles on Earth.
The G-Shock Triple Crown of Surfing is actually seven contests--three for the men, three for the women and one for the juniors. The best professional men will compete in three events: the Op Hawaiian Pro at Haleiwa Ali'i Beach (Nov. 12-23), the Rip Curl World Cup of Surfing at Sunset Beach (Nov. 24-Dec. 6) and the Chiemsee Gerry Lopez Pipe Masters at Pipeline (Dec. 8-20).
The top women professionals will compete in the Op Hawaiian Pro at
Haleiwa Ali'i Beach and at two separate contests connected to the Quiksilver Roxy Pro at Sunset Beach, which combines a 4-star World Qualifying Series women's event with the final women's World Championship Tour event of the season.
The Op Junior--run in conjunction with the Op Hawaiian Pro--is for the world's best amateur surfers, age 19 and under. These seven events will all take place along the North Shore of O`ahu--what surfers call the Seven Mile Miracle--between Nov. 12 and Dec. 20.
The best surfers in the world--from Indonesia to Florida, Australia to Japan--will gather on the North Shore of O`ahu to compete in these events, for money, for points, for world titles, for glory, for pride, for fun.
